Worried about your files?

If you are uploading class notes before an exam, it is fair to ask what happens to them. Flintio turns documents into flashcards, and this page explains how that information is handled.

What do you upload?

You may upload PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files so Flintio can read the text and generate flashcards. You may also send small settings, like how many cards you want.

Do not upload sensitive or confidential material you are not allowed to share.

How are uploads used?

Uploaded documents are used to extract text and return flashcards in your browser session. That processing is there to provide the service you asked for.

This MVP is designed to avoid acting like a long-term document library by default.

Do you sell or share my files?

We do not sell your uploaded files or flashcard content to third parties. We do not share your documents with advertisers.

If providers help us run the app, they may process content only as needed to deliver Flintio.

What about cookies?

We may use basic cookies or local storage for the site to work, stay secure, and remember simple settings. If that changes later, this policy will be updated.

How is your data protected?

We use reasonable measures to protect information processed through Flintio. No online service can promise perfect security, so stop uploading sensitive files if you think something risky was included by mistake.

What gets logged?

Like most web apps, Flintio may create short-lived technical logs. These can include timestamps, error messages, and basic request details used to keep the service working and fix bugs.

If you report a bug, share only what you are comfortable sharing. Avoid sending highly sensitive documents.

How long is data kept?

Flintio is built for on-demand conversion, not for keeping a long-term library of your coursework. Temporary caches or backups may exist for a limited time depending on hosting setup.

If retention changes in a future release, this policy will be updated.

What choices do you have?

You can stop using Flintio at any time. If you send a privacy request, we will respond in line with the laws that apply.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, object to, or restrict certain processing.

What if a child uses Flintio?

Flintio is intended for learners who can lawfully use online study tools. If you think a child shared data they should not have, contact us.

Will this policy change?

We may update this Privacy Policy when the product changes. The last updated date at the top will change when that happens.
